Jenson Button, Brawn GP.
Wow! That was possibly the most intense qualifying session this season. When the rain came in Q2 I thought Jenson had missed his window, and then he pulled a lap out right at the end of the session on dry tyres to land himself safely in to the top 10 shoot out. Rubens was amazing the wet/dry conditions, he was the only driver who really had a feel for where the circuit was going which he demonstrated when he put on a set of dry tyres while everyone else was still on the inters. The pole shoot out didn’t disappoint either, just when I thought Brawn where going to be sitting behind two Red Bulls Jenson & Rubens slammed in two laps out of nowhere. Jenson’s final lap was particularly interesting because it looked like he had conceded defeat with a slow second sector, but both the Brawns where supreme in the final sector. I can’t wait to see the fuel loads!
